Focus a la mode: what we like from s/s 2011 shows

                     D&G

Hippy but not cheapy. The D&G show was really a fun-full of hippie spirit. I personally loved the lovely high waisted shorts, the bold floral prints, the wedge shoes and the two-toned oversized sunglasses.

The Snow white tee with the skirt really matches. C'est parfait!
FENDI
Karl is god. I recently saw the selleria bag at the fendi's boutique window in my area and I think this bag will be worn a lot this summer. The glasses are absolutely to-die-for. I also love the late 50s and 60s influences.

Freja Beha-Ericseen is one of my favourite models. I hope that glasses will be mine soon.

SONIA RYKIEL
Oh la la! So french!
I am satisfied from the pink androgyne suit.

CHANEL
Soft pink feathers. Romantic as well as powerful.

GUCCI
Colorful and sexy.

ALEXANDER WANG
MARY KATRNANTZOU
very young and talented Mary is greek. I love the fact that all her designs have an influence from architecture. She has recently launched some pieces for TOPSHOP as well.

ANNA SUI
MARC JACOBS

so 70s

the bags from the collection. Vintage and sophisticated style.

Thas was my view about the spring/summer 2011 shows. In my humble opinion, these are the collections  we really like all and can't wait to add some new items from them at our wardrobe. What do you think?

We say oui to parties

Saturday night and I had to go to a friend's birthday party! I really wanted to play with my outfit so I decided to convert a pleaded dress to a skirt! Look at the pictures for the result! What do you think about it?

I'm not the type of girl who's wearing a lot of bling-bling and too-much-goin' on when it comes to parties. All above simplicity and chicness. ( my face here really sucks. What was I thinking? Anyway, that was really the best photo where the exact outfit looks well)

I'm wearing my boughts that I showed to you on Friday.
PLEADED DRESS ZARA
<<OUI>> T-SHIRT-MANGO (old)
RED HERING FLORAL SHOES-DEBHENAMS
OPAQUE TIGHTS
POLKA DOT PINK SCARF-ZARA

Although they aren't so comfy I just love them. These shoes are so me! I thought the peep-toe thing will be awful with the tights but I wanted to try it.

My accesories were just a bag and a watch. Less is more? (or maybe exclamation point?)
GUESS BAG (old and gift from my lovely girls)
WHITE ICE WATCH MEDIUM SIZE
Wearing my new lipstick!

Another blog virgin out there

Hey people. As written on the title this is my really first post. I'm Ann Marie, a 15 years old student-turning 16 very soon- from Cyprus who has a flair for fashion. I used to read and still reading fanatically many fashion blogs like the amazing Blonde salad of Chiara Ferragni, a true Goddess of style that is an inspirational source for me. As a student, and still depended on my parents, it's so true that I can't afford easily all those fancy designer items so I'm trying to be as chic as I can with less expensive and affordable clothes that are still fashionable. This is the object of this blog. Teach to you people that you don't need to be rich or have extremely huge loans on your credit card in order to be in style. Be creative with what you have. This is your mission!

What I'm wearing:
   H&M floral top and blazer
ZARA broques
BERSHKA grey skirt
LONGCHAMP le pliage bag
